Can You Identify These People?
Monday, March 14, 2011
From time to time I am approached about help in trying to identify people from this area. If you can identify the people in these pictures, please e-mail me.
Bill Purdam who has a relative in this picture is trying to identify a former Grenadian, Vernon Clogston. According to enlistment records Vernon was born in 1924 with his last known address as 429 E. Levee Street and his mother was Lillia M. Clogston. Bill's uncle, Lt. Vernon Moreland was a navigator on the same B-24 bomber, "Hit Parade" which went down over New Guinea on February 28, 1944 with all crew lost.
