Brookes Cemetery was transcribed May 7, 2000 by Buddy Mitchell and Nick Denley.

Directions to Brookes Cemetery: Take I-55 North of Grenada, Exit Highway # 7 East (Coffeeville Exit). Continue on Highway #7 to Torrance Landing Road. Turn right at the “Y” on Kirkman Road. Turn left at the first gravel road, cemetery is located on the right. This is a remote cemetery and is not in use today. There are several graves without markers.
